This medicine is a potassium supplement used to treat or prevent low potassium levels in the blood.

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. DISSOLVE THIS MEDICINE in at least 4 ounces (1/2 glass) of water or juice and allow the fizzing to stop before drinking. TO PREVENT STOMACH UPSET, TAKE THIS MEDICINE with food or right after a meal or drink an additional full glass of water. DO NOT LIE DOWN for 30 minutes after taking this medicine. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
