Sudafed Cough Syrup is to be used for the relief of cough and congestion due to colds, acute respiratory infections such as bronchitis, and might help you to relive sneezing and itching associated with hay fever. Sudafed Cough Syrup is made up of dextromethorphan, guaifenesin, and pseudoephedrine which work together fight common cold symptoms.

Adults and children 12 years of age and over - One caplet every 12 hours, not to exceed two caplets in 24 hours. This product is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Do not exceed recommended dosage. If nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or are accompanied by fever, consult a doctor. Do not take this product if you have heart disease, high blood pressure thyroid disease, diabetes, of difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland unless directed by a doctor. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Interactions Do not use this product if you are now taking a prescription Monoamine oxidase inhibitor(MAOI) certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains on MAOI consult a health professional before taking this product.
